The day begins at Eladio’s Farm in the Toledo District, where cacao cultivation is part of a diverse and sustainable farming system. Walking through plantations of cacao, bananas, citrus, and herbs, visitors gain insight into traditional practices that prioritize balance and long-term use of the land.

The cacao process is demonstrated step by step — from harvesting and roasting to grinding and preparing chocolate in its traditional form. Meals prepared on-site reflect Maya cuisine and connect directly to the surrounding landscape.

Following the farm visit, the tour continues by vehicle into the forested Blue Creek region. The transition allows for efficient travel while maintaining a strong sense of moving deeper into the natural environment.

At Hokeb Ha Cave, limestone formations and clear underground water define the experience. Entry is straightforward, leading into chambers where rivers and pools create a calm and refreshing setting.

The day concludes at Rio Blanco, where a swim offers a natural moment to relax after the experience — combining culture, sustainability, and nature in a well-paced and accessible way.
