Set in the rainforest of southern Belize, this experience is guided by local expertise rooted in traditional Maya knowledge. The focus is on practical skills and understanding how to move and live within the jungle environment.
Participants learn essential techniques such as fire-making, basic fishing with hand lines, and identifying edible and medicinal plants. Throughout the experience, emphasis is placed on awareness, resource use, and adapting to natural surroundings.
As the day progresses, attention shifts to building shelter using available materials, preparing food over an open fire, and developing simple tools. The process is hands-on and step-by-step, designed to build confidence rather than test limits.
The overnight stay takes place in the forest itself, offering a different perspective once daylight fades. Sounds, temperature, and atmosphere shift, creating a deeper connection to the environment.
